Ethyra Candles – Full Safety & Liability Disclaimer

At Ethyra Candles, your safety is our highest priority. We handcraft each candle in small batches using natural soy wax and carefully selected fragrance blends. While we strive to provide clean-burning and high-quality products, please remember that candles involve both fire and fragrance oils. Safe and responsible use is essential.

Candle Safety Guidelines

  • Always burn within sight. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

  • Keep away from children, pets, flammable materials, and drafts.

  • Trim wick to ¼ inch before each burn to minimize soot, smoke, and uneven flames.

  • Place candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface.

  • Do not burn longer than 3–4 hours at a time.

  • Stop use when ½ inch of wax remains to prevent container overheating.

  • Never move a burning candle or touch hot wax.

Health & Air Quality

Our candles are crafted with soy wax and premium fragrance blends. However, some fragrance ingredients (even at safe levels) can cause allergic reactions, respiratory irritation, or headaches in sensitive individuals.

  • Burn in a well-ventilated area. Avoid use in small, enclosed, or poorly ventilated spaces.

  • If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately.

Pet Safety

Pets, especially cats, dogs, and birds, may be more sensitive to fragrance compounds. Prolonged or concentrated exposure can potentially cause discomfort.

  • Keep burning candles out of reach of pets to avoid ingestion of wax, oils, or wicks.

  • Use only in well-ventilated rooms. Do not allow pets to inhale candle smoke directly.

  • Ethyra Candles makes no claim of pet safety certification. Customers assume full responsibility for use of candles around animals.

Liability & Responsibility

By purchasing and using Ethyra Candles, you agree to follow all safety instructions provided. Ethyra Candles is not liable for:

  • Injury, illness, fire, or property damage resulting from improper use.

  • Reactions caused by fragrance sensitivity in humans or pets.

  • Misuse, neglect, or leaving candles unattended.
